Astrology for Breast Cancer Research - And for ourselves too!

Before I begin writing this blog, I want to clarify that Team Positive Energy is really one person with a dream, and a very supportive family, or Team.  So as we go forward, I sign Team Positive Energy because it is a way for me to be mindful of this relationship, and it just kinda makes me feel good too! But writing with a "we", yeah, that's not going to happen if I want this blog to be real... So... It's going to be in the first person from now on! xoxo

So now on to topic:  I  have chosen all purchases that are astrology based to be associated with Breast Cancer Research.  It was a feeling I got in my heart when I was outlining my plan for Karma Baskets and Gifts.  No grandiose reasons for why I chose to match astrology to this cause, it was just because it felt right.  And I am a FIRM believer in instinct!  So thus begins  our quest to contribute 2% of profits from our astrology based gifts to The Breast Cancer Research foundation, until there is a CURE!  

How I use Astrology!

Astrology is such a cool thing that we all get to partake in if we choose. And for the record, I don't claim to be an astrologist, I leave that to the experts! But I do enjoy astrology, and I can't help but notice how so many times it is so accurate with what is happening in my moments!  And what I love most about astrology, is the fact that as I live with the daily obligations that is life, it helps me be mindful.

Okay, so this is my interpretation coming at you in the next part of this blog.  If I am at all offensive to anyone, please know that I do NOT believe that I am the "truth, the light or the final decree of accuracy" for what astrology "is". This is just me sharing with you how astrology works for me.  :)

When I read my chart, horoscope, daily plan, etc., I will reflect upon the narrative as a tool to help me deal with my moments in life.  We live in a rocking fast paced world, with many other people's balls juggling through our personal space at any given moment!  Astology helps me slow down.  Being mindful with the help of an astrological perspective, to me, is centering.

Now I personally don't use astrology so rigidly that I won't do anything on a day when the chart is especially negative.  What I do, and AGAIN,  this is just what I like to do, is use astrology to bring a little balance to my mental state. It helps me handle whatever comes my way.  Because to me, following the principles of the law of attraction, means keeping that vibration up is key. Astrology helps me concentrate on attracting the energy I want!  With astrology as an aid, and because I have an idea of what's going to come at me on a given day, I recognize it, am mindful of it, and thus check what ever emotions start to bubble up throughout the day.  Very helpful when I realize....."That's why I want to kill this guy"!  :)  So, if the energy is tough one day, it doesn't slow down my moving train that is my life, but instead gives me that little extra pick me up, when I need it most!
