The holidays are here. They are both exciting and stressful. You know, stressful because you are trying to keep up with expectations
However, the spending of money, time, planning, it's all a lot of pressure. And the excitement of the events, days off, parties, all usually do add to these pressures. But, like a beautiful crystal, or gem, the pressure creates beauty. And that enjoyment to come is worth all the pressure needed to create this diamond of a good time!
But how do you cope?!
It's this. Mindfulness is turning the moment into a positive. It's growth. Is air. It's your Spirit rising to teach you a life lesson. Or support you in your moment of anything.
I have been scouring the net looking for spiritual bloggers, at some of my favorite bloggers, spiritual leaders, and even media outlets, for some insightful murmurings. Sharing their wisdom so I may share a more insightful post with you. There are a lot of brilliant people out there.
I found many. I read a few. But the one I come back to is from Energy Muse. Because they have been practicing in the mainstream for a long time now. They talk about their crystals and using them in mediation. They tell you how to use them in a way to capture your Spirit in an active state. They speak of the energy work you will be able to do with the crystals they sell.
Here is the thing. I think they are right. When you connect with a certain crystal, you open your mind to a gentle feeling of enlightenment. You will know it, because it touches you, draws you to it. You feel the pull of the color, then the power of the energy. So you decide to buy it.
Now take that new found friend and palm it, wear it, hold it
Once you are there, that moment of realization that there is something special happening, you will take it a step further. Maybe you will meditate, or tuck that moment into your subconscious to help you relax and come back to it later. The point is, this is a gift to you. The gift of consciousness, to realize that each moment is yours.
During the holidays, we all get excited and caught up with many emotions. There may be sadness mixed with the happiness. There may be pressures, mixed in with the beauty of friends and family. Or maybe you are alone.
Don't lose control. Don't forget yourself. Live this holiday at the moment of mindfulness, peace, and self-awareness. Love yourself enough to notice your moments. Keep your eye on the world of self-growth. Gift yourself a mental northern star, and follow
